Colonic Irrigation - The treatment itself

During Colonic Irrigation treatments, the modesty of the patient is preserved to the utmost at all times. We start with a consultation to discuss medical and dietary history followed by an explanation of the procedure. The Colonic Irrigation treatment itself will take about 30 minutes where water will be introduced into the colon via the rectum to release stored waste. Palpation of the tummy area is also used to aid softening of faecal matter and removal of old deposits.

Only approved, single use disposable units are used during the colonic irrigation treatment, which consequently eliminates the risk of cross infection.
